Ljubljana with the surrounding Ljubljana region has been short-listed for European Capital of Culture 2025. Count Blagaj's Land and Polhov Gradec thus have a chance to be a part of this project, which encourages additional cultural and tourism development. Be sure to check which city has been awarded the title on 18 December 2020. The competition is tough - the committee will have to chose between four Slovenian cities; Ljubljana, Piran, Ptuj and Nova Gorica.
